Clæmus' music is the result of blending odd-meter, hooky melodies and heavy guitar riffs. The band incorporates a wide variety of sounds beyond what might be expected of a three-piece metal band — ranging from soaring synthesizers, orchestral arrangements and rich vocal harmonies.
With this array of sounds at their disposal, Clæmus creates dynamic and exciting compositions, which ensures each piece of music has a unique and original character to it. Each song, however, is distinctly Clæmus.
The members of Clæmus hail from the Hutt Valley, a small city outside the capital city of New Zealand, Wellington. Since the conception of the band, Clæmus has independently recorded, produced and released a slew of singles, a 2021 full-length album Daydream, and in 2024 their highly anticipated EP Mercurial saw its debut.
The future for Clæmus is brighter than ever, with the band currently preparing new music slated to release in 2025.
