Clæmus, hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, blend hooky vocal melodies and harmonies, powerful guitars, and dark synthesizers to create their unique version of oceanic progressive metal.
Since the band's debut 2021 album Daydream, Clæmus has consistently refined and pushed the envelope with their sound while still maintaining a core originality that is unrivaled in the progressive music space. This is reflected across their catalog to date, including a slew of singles and the release of their 2024 EP Mercurial.
The band's atmospheric live show has seen them share the stage with acts such as Thornhill, Caligula's Horse, Intervals, The Ocean and more, where they are able to showcase the sonic variety of their music to new and old fans alike.
Clæmus are again exploring new audio territory while approaching completion on their second full length album (release date TBA).
